When you sign up for a newspaper, you only want the paper copy to be delivered at home, but your mobile phone gets spammed. I regularly get spam SMSes from a newspaper’s Infoline regarding a variety of subjects, and there is no option available to opt out of these spam SMSes.

So if you have made a mistake and not told the truth for any reason, it is better to apologise for your mistake and start again with a clean slate.
